| Nobody can tell the difference just by listening to the audio. Coaxial cables are more robust than optical which can be fragile. Optical's advantage is less electro-magnetic interference. Optical cables are usually made with plastic fibers but some are made with glass fibers which may offer better performance. All in all it is a toss-up and you can use either one. |
